Dawn Soto is a Senior Food Service Training Specialist with the Los Angeles Unified School District and has been an active team member for 24 years. Prior to her present position, Dawn has been a trainer and manager for several nationally recognized restaurants and applies those concepts to cafe operations. Dawn develops and oversees training curriculum for over 3500+ District Food Service employees, students, and parents on all subjects pertaining to school food programs, operations, nutrition education and professional development that align with Professional Standards requirements. Dawn lives by the motto; "Train hard, work easy. Train easy, and you will work hard."

Selina Gordian is a Food Service Training Specialist with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Utilizing her skills and knowledge in the food service industry, Selina is determined to create fun and innovative ways to teach Food Service Managers, staff, and students about food safety and nutrition all while reinforcing State and Federal guidelines. Selina believes that using high energy and visual aids such as props and PowerPoint presentations brings a nontraditional approach to training that is appropriate and engaging for all ages.
